Ford leads the pack in sale ahead of General Motors Co. (GM) by 14,500 pickups in September. Ford (F) sale up because of boosting sale on F-series trucks by 9.8% from last year. Total U.S. sales of car and light truck slim down 24.2% last night. Ford sale gain because a lot of buyers are looking for to spend less than $30,000 on the truck. By 2014 Ford will add larger trucks, SuperCrew trucks, that will sell with the price starting around $33,000. You can see from the chart that only Ford and Chrysler that sale are increase and the rest player like Nissan Motor co., Toyaota Motor corp, Honda and GM have weaker sale. Since the economy is still slump I guess it's a price war. Who can offer cheaper price will get more attractive than the other.
